This visit is a good option for patients who already have a primary care provider but need prompt care for a minor illness while waiting to see their regular provider. It is also appropriate for patients who are sick now and would like their immediate concern addressed before scheduling a separate visit to establish Confident Heart as their primary care provider.
Examples may include cold or flu symptoms, sore throat, sinus symptoms, uncomplicated urinary symptoms, pink eye, minor rash, yeast infection, or other simple acute concerns.

Rapid Sick Visits are limited to one acute concern and do not include chronic disease management, routine medication management or refills, controlled medications, preventive care, multiple concerns, forms, or extensive evaluation. Prescriptions, including antibiotics, are provided only when clinically appropriate.

Current or Recent Patients of Millennium Physician Group (MPG), HarmonyCares, Mara’s Lighthouse Counseling Center, My Home Doctor, Universal Family care and/or North Florida Medical Center (NFMC):
Patients currently established with these organizations are encouraged to continue care with their existing providers to support continuity of care and avoid potential contractual conflicts. Consideration for new patient scheduling may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if it has been more than five years since the patient’s last visit with one of these organizations.
